There’s a National Signing Day coming up next week to finish the 2025 recruiting class — and no one cares. There are exactly 4 unsigned players ranked in the Top 250, as most players around the country signed during the early signing period in December. As a general rule for myself and how I cover recruiting, I normally don’t dive into the next cycle too deep until a week or so after the February signing day… but we might as well move forward.
Currently, Notre Dame has six commitments for its 2026 recruiting class and it’s ranked #8 in the nation by the 247 Team Composite Rankings.

This class should grow to about three times this size by the time June rolls around. Typically, Notre Dame has the vast majority of its recruiting classes locked in by the summer and I don’t see that changing much this year.
I’m going to go ahead and post the scholarship chart — but you should only use this as a very basic tool for the next few months. There is still going to be some transfer portal action in the spring which could significantly change the needs/wants across the roster.

So… that’s where the class is at the moment. We should expect a handful (maybe a big handful) of commitments over the next couple of months — but every cycle has the ability to be quite different than what we’re used to from previous ones.
And just in case you’re wondering about, “where are the 5-Stars?” in this class. Of Notre Dame’s 142 offers, only 4 of those offers are currently ranked as a 5-Star.
