WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Burke County man was arrested and charged with terroristic threats after gambling Friday afternoon.
According to the incident report, 28-year-old Alfonzo Williams III was gambling with two other people when he went home to get a gun.
His father called law enforcement to report a theft and to find out about the other people, deputies say.
The report says Williams was contacted by a Burke County sheriff’s deputy and told the deputy the victims involved jumped him and “took everything from him” when he won their game.
Williams also said, “I will kill them mother******s” multiple times, according to the deputy.
The deputy then said he went to the area where the gambling was taking place and talked to the victims, who told him Williams was heavily intoxicated and upset.
The victims said Williams took out his Taurus GX2 9mm and loaded it. One of the victims said he was able to convince Williams to enter a shed, where the victim punched Williams and took his gun, according to deputies.
Williams is charged with terrorist threats and acts.
