EVESHAM, NJ — A brush fire is burning at a golf course in Burlington County, officials said Monday afternoon.
The fire at Links Golf Club totaled about 5 acres as of 2:15 p.m. Monday, according to Evesham Fire-Rescue, which is there with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
No homes are under threat, officials said. But residents in the Kings Grant neighborhood will smell smoke, and the fire will smolder until there’s soaking rain.

Evesham Fire-Rescue shared the approximate area of the fire:
Evesham had two major wildfires in recent weeks — both around Sycamore Avenue in the southern portion of the township. A 14-year-old boy was charged with arson after one of the fires, and authorities are investigating whether the incidents are linked.
