JIMMY ROGERS IS SET to be the new head man at Washington State and there is early indication that much of his staff from South Dakota State is coming with him. Matt Zimmer, who covers SDSU for Sioux Falls Live, tweeted on Saturday afternoon that he has been told Rogers is taking the whole staff with him, although he also notes he is unsure if “whole staff” legitimately means every single coach.
But assuming Rogers is at least bringing the coordinators and the positional coaches, let’s take a look at the names Washington State fans should be getting to know. Fair warning: there’s not a whole lot of Power 5 or Group of 5 representation on these resumes, but as Jim Walden used to say, “coaching football is coaching football no matter what level you’re at.”
