The Boston Celtics were a dominant force en route to the 2024 NBA championship. They finished the regular season with the best record in the league. They had the top-ranked offense and second-ranked defense, and they held their opponents to under 100 points in 11 of their 19 postseason games. There’s a reason why they’re favorites to repeat their success in the 2024-25 campaign.
During a recent episode of the “Celtics Lab” podcast, the hosts were joined by Ronnie 2K, of the NBA 2K franchise. They simulated the entire 2024-25 season in the hope of gaining a prediction as to who will walk away with the crown of champion next summer.
As you would expect, Boston secured the repeat, running out winners in the NBA Finals and adding Banner 19 to the rafters. 2K was ensuring the Celtics fan base didn’t have another 16-year wait on their hands for their next taste of success.
