Tips to have the best BNP Paribas Open experience at Indian Wells Tennis Garden

Taking a page from the Masters golf tournament, the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament in Indian Wells is introducing a Champions Luncheon at this year’s event.
The event, hosted by defending singles champions Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek, will take place on Wednesday, March 5 at the Porta Via Restaurant located at Stadium 1 on the grounds of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, site of the pro tournament which takes place from March 2-16.
The menu for the event, which is not open to the public, will feature cuisine that celebrates the 2024 champions’ Spanish and Polish heritage. The food options will include bocadillo with Spanish ham to honor Alcaraz, and classic pierogis to celebrate Swiatek.
There will be a Q&A with the defending champs before the meal at this event, which is intended to become an annual occurrence.
