SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding men’s golf team has made a strong debut in the national rankings, coming in at No. 26 in the initial Scoreboard powered by Clippd rankings.
The Bisons have compiled an impressive 42-8-0 record through three events and have a weighted average of 33.26 points per tournament. Harding’s highest point total was 40.97 for its second-place finish at the NSU Men’s Classic in September.
Individually, Jose Manuel Peralta leads the way for Harding, ranking 60th nationally and seventh in the Central Region. Dennis Staykov (#155) and Christian Lindgreen (#181) also cracked the top 200. Peralta has two top-10 finishes in Harding’s first three tournaments.
In the Central Region rankings, Harding sits third behind Central Oklahoma (No. 5 nationally) and Henderson State (No. 23 nationally).
The Bisons play their final tournament of the fall on Oct. 28-29 at the Tulsa Cup, hosted by Rogers State at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
