The preparations are underway for the Buffalo Bills ahead of the AFC championship game.
The Bills (13-4) have had their eye on Super Bowl 59 all year… and realistically, right next to that in the back of the team’s mind has been a meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) in the postseason.
That’s on deck.
Buffalo’s prep for their trip to Kansas City is unfolding this week ahead of Sunday’s contest. The eye balls have mostly been on a trio of players from the team’s defense that have been listed on the injury report.
Linebacker Matt Milano (bicep/hamstring) and cornerback Christian Benford (concussion) have been limited. Meanwhile, safety Taylor Rapp (back/hip) has taken time off. All three were injured in the divisional round against the Baltimore Ravens.
Check out the updates and how all three have looked in practice this week in the clips shared from workouts via media members below:

I did not see Taylor Rapp (hip/back) on the field at all during the media portion of #Bills practice Thursday.
Matt Milano (hamstring) was practicing in some capacity, as was Christian Benford (concussion) in a non-contact jersey.
Dion Dawkins (illness) was also practicing. pic.twitter.com/5zkuxWg0w8

Matt Milano sat out at least one drill during portion of practice open to media.
Was a read and react drill for LBs/DBs dropping and reacting laterally to direction QB looks.
Outside of that, Milano seemed to moving around well. #Bills pic.twitter.com/ia8EVaGpfO— Thad Brown (@thadbrown7) January 23, 2025
No Taylor Rapp during the media portion of #Bills practice Thursday.
Dion Dawkins back out there after missing yesterday with an illness.

LB Matt Milano participated during media-viewing at Thursday #Bills practice. Did not see him favoring the hamstring much, but did not lift the heavy bag like rest of LBs. CB Christian Benford in red non-contact jersey as he continues to work through concussion protocol. S Taylor… pic.twitter.com/rcRf21TmbI

Jordan Phillips always knows where the camera attention is.
