Big Lots has added another way for customers to save money with the launch of its rewards app.
According to a press release, Big Lots launched its new Big Lots app “to enhance the shopping experience for its valued customers. The app is available for current and new Big Reward members, bringing a host of new features and benefits for its loyal customers. It is the latest step in delivering on its promise to be the leader in extreme value.”
The app provides customers with access to in-store rewards, a personalized dashboard to track earnings, and exclusive offer notifications. Also included are features such as one-touch shopping, profile and credit card management, and weekly exclusive deals. The app will also feature Big Lots “Rewards Ready” notifications to inform users about new rewards.
Bruce Millard, senior vice president of marketing and e-commerce at Big Lots, stated in the release, “With the introduction of the Big Lots app, our Big Reward customers will have an enhanced and more personalized shopping experience. We aim to make it easier for our customers to access their rewards, stay informed about the best deals, and manage their profiles and credit cards all in one place as they shop in-store and online for bargains to brag about.”
The Big Lots app is available for download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The new Big Lots app piggybacks on the store’s Big Lots Big Rewards — a free in-store service where customers can get discounts and exclusive member events just by signing up. New members can get 15% off. After, customers are eligible for 5% off every purchase every day,
Rewards include a $5 reward for every 3 purchases plus a $10 bonus for every $200 spent on furniture. Plus, customers can earn a $5 reward for every $100 spent on the Big Lots Credit Card.
Other incentives include free items on weekends, a special birthday surprise, exclusive coupons and offers throughout the year, and a daily military and veterans discount.
Big Lots is a closeout retailer. It is dedicated to delivering customer bargains on home goods, furniture, décor, pantry items, and more.
