The men’s golf competition is well underway at the 2024 Olympics in Paris as Hideki Matsuyama led the way after the first 18 holes. Three years ago, the Japanese star was one of seven players who battled for the bronze medal in a playoff, an award that eventually went to C.T. Pan.
As the event continues into the weekend, we wanted to take a look at some of the best — and worst — outfits that countries have supplied their players with.
Some teams are sporting overly simple looks — looking at you, Finland — and some are looking clean.

Here are our grades for some of the outfits we’ve seen at the 2024 Olympics in Paris at Le Golf National.

Finland went into a Word document, typed “Finland” and dropped it on a hat and polo. You gotta respect the simplicity.

Never a huge fan of hats with large font, but this outfit is great. The black pants tie in perfectly with the vertically-striped shirt. Just a solid look for Mr. Tom Kim.

Several countries went with the navy blue-white look at this week’s Olympics, but Japan is arguably doing it the best. This shirt has a great design and it matches well with the navy pants and hat.

Not feeling this look at all. It would have been a lot better if there was some red in the shirt to match with the hat. We’ll see if Spain brings a better look over the weekend.

This is a great fit from Niemann. The hat, shirt and pants perfectly match the colors of the Chilean flag and every item ties into one another. Well done, Chile.
