MAUI, HAWAII – Jack Beauchamp had one of the best rounds in program history Sunday in the second round of the Ka’anapali Classic.
At the Ka’anapali Golf Course, Beauchamp shot 7-under 64, the 14th different TCU player ever to shoot 7-under par or better in a round. It tied for the third-best round vs. par in program history and second-best round score ever.
Beauchamp made nine birdies and moved up 24 spots to a tie for third place at 10-under 132. He’s three shots behind the leader, Jaxon Dowell of Oklahoma.
Joe Pagdin shot 5-under 66 to move up 27 spots to a tie for 11th place at 7-under 135.
Also shooting under par was Scott Roden who recovered from Saturday’s outing with a score of 1-under 70.
TCU shot 12-under par, the second-best score of any team on Sunday. The Horned Frogs moved up four spots to eighth at 19-under par.
A shotgun start will begin play in the final round at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
