Battle High School is searching for a new head football coach.
Matthew Herman confirmed to ABC 17 Sports on Thursday that he is no longer serving as the head coach of Battle’s football program. He has also shared the news with his players.
Herman served as Battle’s head football coach for the last two seasons. The Spartans posted a 4-16 record during that span.
The school will begin the hunt for its fourth head football coach in five seasons. Herman, Jonah Dubinski (two seasons) and Atiyyah Ellison (two seasons) were the last three coaches to serve in that position.
