PHOENIX — Barclay Group, a nationally recognized real estate development firm, continues to execute on in its retail development strategy with the delivery of seven Kroger-anchored shopping centers over the last fifteen months.
Recent deliveries include two shopping center openings in January 2025 – Flying Horse in Colorado Springs, CO, anchored by King Sooper’s Marketplace (Kroger) which opened on January 22nd, and Morrison Ranch in Gilbert, AZ, anchored by Fry’s Marketplace (Kroger) which opened January 31st.
The additional Barclay Group retail centers that encompass this milestone are multiple properties across the greater Phoenix market, all anchored by Fry’s Marketplace (Kroger) including:

Barclay Group’s success in Phoenix is part of a broader nationwide footprint. In 2024, the company delivered nine retail shopping centers, totaling 1.9 million square feet, across the southwest and southeast. Anchor tenants at these centers include Fry’s (Kroger), Target, Sprouts, and EOS Fitness.
Looking ahead, the company continues to focus on growing its multi-tenant retail portfolio. This portfolio now includes 25 properties across six states, including Arizona, Florida, Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, and Idaho.
