ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Charlotte Men’s Golf completed round two of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate on Saturday (Oct. 19) in fourth place on the team leaderboard with a score of 568 (-8). Caden Baker (133, -11) leads the individual field by three strokes over Duke’s Ethan Evans.
The tournament is held at the Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside Course. The par-72, 7,092-yard course is ranked 24th in the state of Georgia by Golf Digest. One of the most picturesque portions of the course are holes 11 through 14 as they play alongside Lake Windward.

Baker (66, -5) provided a steady presence in round two by totaling five birdies while shooting for par on the remaining holes. Baker leads Evans by three strokes, and Virginia’s Josh Duangmanee and Vanderbilt’s Wells Williams by five.
Cave carded an even par on Saturday after finishing one under on day one, sitting tied for 13th on the individual leaderboard. After a tough round one (75, +3) for Gough, he bounced back in the second round to finish one under. Matthews was a stroke behind Gough, totaling 147 (+3) through two rounds. Warren sits at 154 (+10) in his first collegiate golf tournament.
