MAPLESVILLE, Ala. (WSFA) – An Autauga Academy football coach has been taken to the hospital after being injured during Friday night’s game against Maplesville.
Autauga Academy announced in a social media post that Coach Bam suffered a broken foot when he was knocked down by a play that spilled off the field onto the sidelines.
He was taken to an area hospital for immediate medical attention, but seemed in good spirits.
