After yesterday’s afternoon washout, the punters have been gagging for some tennis today.
There was a lengthy line shortly before play started at the ticket office outside the main entrance near Melbourne’s city centre.
Grounds passes can be picked up for $59 Australian dollars (about £25) and allow entrance to every court apart from Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena.
That means those fans could see plenty of big names and a host of Aussies. And, if they’re really well prepared, Nick Kyrgios’ AO comeback against Jacob Fearnley.
