This week’s ATP 250 event at Delray Beach only features one top player in Taylor Fritz and has plenty of American players in the draw. While on paper the draw might not be the most attractive one, the tournament should still feature lots of high quality, exciting and unpredictable matchups, starting this Monday already with a very intriguing order of play.
Head-to-head: first meeting
Kecmanovic is having a very nice start to the season, only barely losing to the eventual champion in Hong Kong and Dallas last week, as well as pushing Rune to the limit at the Australian Open. He has been playing some very good tennis, looking like someone who can seriously climb up the rankings this year and he should be able to advance here.
Prediction: Kecmanovic in 2
Head-to-head: first meeting
This battle between an American qualifier and an American lucky loser is quite hard to predict on paper, but so far this year it’s Boyer who has been playing the better tennis, both here in qualifying and in Australia. Judging by their current level, Boyer should have the edge even if it should be a very close match overall.
Prediction: Boyer in 3

Mmoh has been struggling for results for a long time, while Shevchenko has established himself as a top 100 mainstay, even if so far he has proved unable to really trouble the elite players. Given their current levels, Shevchenko should be able to advance with relative ease here.
Prediction: Shevchenko in 2
Head-to-head: Nakashima 1-0 Trotter
Nakashima has been a bad streak of results, but draws haven’t really been very kind to him lately. It’s a different story here, where he opens up against a Japanese qualifiers ranked #182. Nakashima has a great opportunity to snap his losing streak here and he should not waste it. He might even be able to start a good run here afterwards.
Prediction: Nakashima in 2

Norrie is very far from his best level, but he is still quite tough to beat, especially for someone ranked as low as Svajda and at a tournament where he has already experienced title success back in 2022. All things considered, Norrie should be far too consistent for Svadja and advance to the next round.
