The 2024 edition of the ATP Antwerp Open is the ninth edition of this tournament and the tennis action hasn’t disappointed this year. The matches on Day 4 sees the remaining Round of 16 matches scheduled and we preview and predict all four of them
Head to head – Giron 1-1 Rinderknech
Both players have had an okay 2024 season thus far. Coming to this matchup, Arthur Rinderknech’s attacking style and powerful serve give him an edge, especially in crucial moments. While Marcos Giron is a solid competitor, Rinderknech’s ability to dictate play and pressure his opponent will likely lead him to a hard-fought win. The Frenchman should emerge victorious in three sets
Prediction: Rinderknech in 3
Head to head – First Meeting
Daniel Altmaier hasn’t quite had a consistent year. Jiri Lehecka on the other hand has had a great 2024 seeing his ranking shoot up to #33. With his higher ranking and strong performance in the first round, he’s shown the ability to play at a high level. Altmaier may struggle to keep up with Lehecka’s consistency and power, making it difficult for him to mount a challenge.
Prediction: Lehecka in 2

Head to head – First Meeting
Zizou Bergs has done well in his first round match this week but he now faces Sebastian Baez who is seeded fourth and is a handful from the baseline. Having already secured two titles this season, Baez will look to turn around his winless tournament in Shanghai. The Argentine’s experience and recent form should give him the edge over Bergs, allowing him to secure a solid victory.
Prediction: Baez in 2
Head to head – First Meeting
Stefanos Tsitsipas has been an enigma this year. After a beautiful start to the year, the Greek hasn’t won a title since Monte Carlo. He would look to reverse that trend this week and he has a good draw to do so after being seeded second here. He faces Thiago Seyboth Wild who has looked impressive this week after coming through qualifying but it’s likely he will be overpowered from the baseline by the Greek. Expect Tsitsipas to make a strong start here.
Prediction: Tsitsipas in 2
