HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Aloha Muscle body fitness competition is happening this Friday at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel in the Hawaii Ballroom.
Aloha Muscle CEO Rey Ronquilio and 2023 Aloha Muscle Masters overall champion Melanie Gonzalez joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about the annual bodybuilding competition and national qualifier that promotes fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
The event features prejudging at 8 a.m. and a night show at 6 p.m. The competition showcases top athletes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini, and physique categories, celebrates fitness for all levels and empowers people who believe fitness is a cornerstone of a balanced life.
Athletes from various divisions—both amateurs and experienced competitors—and from different age groups and categories are welcome to participate.
“Events like Aloha Muscle bring the very best in me because the competition is so intense. Every competitor is very well prepared, which makes the event extremely difficult, but fun at the same time. I am grateful to my Coach Muneca Harvey of Fitdolls by Muneca for preparing me for this moment and I am looking to take the stage and shine,” said Gonzalez, who will defend her title this year.
