Athleta in The Longmeadow Shops is closing at the end of January
Athleta, the women’s sportswear chain, is closing one of its stores in Longmeadow at the end of January.
The Athleta store in The Longmeadow Shops is closing on Jan. 31, the outdoor shopping mall announced on Jan. 11 on Instagram.
As the store heads to a close, it said it will hold a fixture sale.
“If you are interested in tables, nesting benches, hangers, and hardware INQUIRE IN STORE,” the Instagram post read.
There won’t be a delivery option and all sales are final, according to the Instagram post.
The store, located at 724 Bliss Road, came to the Longmeadow Shops in 2021. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to its website.
Gap, which owns Athleta, did not immediately respond to MassLive’s request for comment.
