Doha, October 08 (QNA) – Qatari fans will be badly needed at Al Thumama Stadium on Thursday against Kyrgyzstan, HE Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain said on Tuesday.
The AFC Asian Cup champions are now placed fifth in Group A of the third round of Asia World Cup qualifiers, having lost 3-1 to the UAE at home and held to a 2-2 away tie against North Korea.
Yet HE Al Buenain expressed confidence the Qatari supporters would help the national team balance out and return to the right path to make their way to the US, Canada and Mexico.
