Arkansas basketball will play its first true road game tonight against Miami in the ACC/SEC Challenge, searching its first victory over a Power Four opponent this season.
The Razorbacks (5-2) dropped out of the USA TODAY Coaches Poll this week after a 90-77 loss to Illinois on Thanksgiving. Arkansas is undefeated at home, but it hasn’t won a game away from the friendly confines of Bud Walton Arena.
The Hurricanes (3-4) have lost four straight games and are coming off a home loss to Charleston Southern. This is the second straight year John Calipari has faced Miami in the ACC/SEC Challenge. His Kentucky team cruised to a 95-73 victory in 2023.
This is only the second all-time meeting between Arkansas and Miami. The Hurricanes defeated the Hogs 75-71 in the first round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament.

Arkansas 77, Miami 70. This feels like a game the Hogs have to win. The Hurricanes have lost four straight games and haven’t looked like an NCAA Tournament team through the first month of the season. The Razorbacks will make enough shots to come away with the road victory.
