Arch Manning’s narration was featured behind Texas Longhorns football’s new hype video.
“Playing for Texas was always the goal. There’s something about this place. This city, the Forty Acres, we’ve got a lotta fight in us. And you can feel it everywhere and in everything we do. Because at this place, the standard is the standard. We’ve got a (mess) around and find out mentality, because this is Texas. And we were born with Texas fight. Hook ‘em,” Manning says.
You can see it for yourself below:
After two seasons behind Quinn Ewers, who’s currently on his way to the NFL Draft later this year, Manning will lead Texas’ offense for the remainder of his time on the Forty Acres. Whether that’s for a one-and-done season or two seasons, in which Manning finishes out his college eligibility, we can’t answer that part. His first test will come against the reigning national champions, the Ohio State Buckeyes, on Aug. 30.
