APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – A pub in Appleton will make its case before the city council after having its mechanical amusement device license denied.
Police looked at the five devices submitted by Pizzeria Pub and Bar and told the city council that all but one were illegal gambling devices.
The city requires applicants to identify the brands and types of devices for an amusement device license.
After the police department’s statement, the council voted to deny the pub’s license request. The pub will appeal the decision at Wednesday night’s city council meeting.
