The Nebraska Cornhuskers took another hit from the transfer portal. Wide receiver Jaylen Lloyd made the shocking announcement on Monday evening.
The sophomore wideout caught 13 passes for 255 yards during the 2024 season. He recorded 19 receptions for 492 yards and three touchdowns in his Nebraska career.
Lloyd is the most recent receiver to enter the transfer portal. The Huskers have also seen the departures of Isaiah Neyor and Malachi Coleman. Lloyd’s departure could be tied to the portal additions of Cal Bears receiver Nyziah Hunter and Kentucky Wildcat receiver Dane Key.
