TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – Some people are still in the holiday spirit even though Halloween has come and gone.
In fact, some Christmas shopping is already happening in Tuscaloosa.
First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa welcomed shoppers there for a special event as the church held its annual First Holly Days Christmas Market.
More than 50 vendors were selling a variety of items, and many of them were Christmas-themed.
The market is also a fundraiser. Vendors pay a rental fee for booth space that serves worthy causes.
“This is a market that is also a fundraiser for local missions like Good Samaritan Clinic, Community Soup Bowl, those kinds of missions,” according to Beth Yates with First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa.
This was the 10th anniversary of First Holly Days Christmas Market.
It’s a two-day event that ended Saturday afternoon.
