It’s tempting to get swept up by the Amazon Prime Day hype — which is why we make every effort to only feature genuine deals and discounts in our sales round-ups. It’s also easy to overlook the fact that there are plenty of other opportunities to shop for legitimate discounts away from the wholesale giant this October.
Should you be looking for fitness-adjacent deals, I’ve scouted some of the best that you won’t find on Amazon this week. From Decathlon and Gymshark to JTX Fitness, Built for Athletes and Myprotein, keep scrolling for the best alternative Prime Day offers right now, including discounted gym wear, home workout equipment, running kit and more.
There are 737 items on sale over at Gymshark right now, such as this oversized Premium Legacy Hoodie in black. If you’re after even bigger discounts, there’s also over 50% off selected lines for a limited time only.
Need somewhere to stash all your kit? Look no further than Built for Athletes, whose utility backpacks have become synonymous with CrossFit gyms up and down the country. The 45L version is currently £25 off in certain colourways.
For deals on outdoor-wear and trail running kit, head over to the Outlet section at The North Face, where you’ll find plenty of offers across last season’s styles. This men’s waterproof shell jacket, for example, is currently down from £240 to £192, or 20% off.
Nike’s sale effectively never ends, but there’s better times of year than others to search for discounts. With summer-wear making way for Autumn/Winter looks, now’s a great opportunity to pick up some outgoing styles for less, such as this Nike Metcon colourway, down from £134.99 to £94.49.
Your can routinely find some of Lululemon’s best apparel inside its ‘We made too much’ collection. The least popular colourways are usually the most discounted, such as this popular Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirt in lilac, which is now down from £68 to £49. Keep an open and there’s decent saving to be had.
Kit out your home gym in one fell swoop with this 100kg home gym bundle from Bulldog Gear. Featuring a squat rack, barbell, flat weight bench, 100kg of bumpers and a pair of spring collars, it could all be yours for £845.60 (15% off).
If you’ve in need of something particular – be it an exercise mat for your home gym or low-cost sportswear – it’s always worth scanning through Decathlon’s online ‘Deals’ tab, where there’s currently 800+ products reduced.
TRX suspension trainers can help you lose weight, build strength and improve mobility at the fraction of the cost of a gym membership. You can currently pick up this version for £112.46 down from £149.95 (25% off).
JTX Fitness equipment features across many of our home gym equipment guides. Head over there for up to £200 top-rated exercise bikes, treadmills and rowing machines.
NordicTrack is another home gym equipment manufacturer that we rate highly. Their commercial-grade home gym equipment is pricey, but there’s currently up to £500 off.
There’s a recurring theme here, which is that if you want savings on the big brands, the best place to look is in the outlet sections. At On, you can currently get 20% off the On Cloudsurfer and more when you sign up for free to become a member.
The same can be said for Hoka. There’s big savings to be had, provided you don’t mind shopping last season’s trainers. Take, for example, the outgoing (but still excellent) Hoka Speedgoat 5, which is now down to £97.99 from £140.
There’s currently 30% off selected footwear at Saucony right now and there’s lots of stock across some of the brand’s most popular lines, such as the max-cushion Triumph RFG – down from £170 to £119.
Over at Asics, you can pick up the popular Gel-Kayano 30 in plenty of colourways for £126.00 (down from £180), plus plenty of other road and trail running shoes for less than their RRP.
As the weather turns, you might be inclined to pick up some more sturdy running kit to see you through winter. Over at Salomon, you can currently pick up past season road and trail running gear for less.
There’s a few Myprotein deals on Amazon this Prime Day, but you can pick them up for cheaper by shopping on the Myprotein website directly. Take, for example, the Impact Whey, which is just £10.28 for 500g – £8 cheaper than at Amazon.
It doesn’t look like Bulk is participating in the October Prime Day sale, so ff you’re a fan of Bulk supplements, the best place to find deals is on the Bulk website, where there’s currently up to 75% off selected products.
