Main Street owns 16 regional sports networks and televises professional baseball, hockey and basketball games in cities from Miami to Los Angeles. The new offering, first announced last year, continues a turnaround for Main Street, which nearly shut down in 2023 under the pressure of substantial debt and the loss of cable-TV customers migrating to streaming services.
The company, formerly known as Diamond Sports Group and part of Sinclair Inc., filed for bankruptcy in 2023 and reached a naming rights agreement with sports-betting platform FanDuel Inc. and a multi-year streaming agreement with Amazon as part of its restructuring. Main Street is now owned by an investor group.
The channels are also available through cable, satellite and the FanDuel Sports Network app, the company said in a statement.
