SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Amazon officials say since the opening a fulfillment center in Shreveport a few months ago, they have been getting ready for the center’s first holiday shopping season.
With more than 1,000 employees, Amazon says the Shreveport facility is prepared for the influx of orders, handling almost one million packages every day.
For all last-minute shoppers, Amazon says this is what you need to be on the lookout for before placing your orders.
“Arrives before Christmas, it will list that next to the items that will guarantee to arrive before Christmas. That way you know that the items you’ve selected will be on time for the big holiday. The other thing is you can always contact customer service 24/7 for questions related to you shopping experience and delivery,” said Divina Mims, public relations manager for Amazon.
