ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced the 2024 Academic All-WAC honorees, along with freshmen and transfer student-athletes from all 2023-24 conference sports back in late June and the women’s basketball team was represented by four Lady Mavericks.
Taliyah Clark, DJ McFarlane, Aubrey Reid and Adela Valkova were the four Lady Mavs to represent the women’s basketball team on the list.
To be eligible for Academic All-WAC recognition, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.
