The holiday season is always a very busy time for businesses, and ALDI is making preparations for that.
The discount-grocery store chain said in a news release last week that they are hiring more than 13,000 store and warehouse workers nationwide. Some of those positions are local.
There are four Augusta-area ALDI locations and all of them are hiring part-time store cashiers/stockers. The Augusta store on Bobby Jones Expressway is also hiring full-time store associates. ALDI’s national average pay for store workers is about $18 per hour. Benefits like flexible scheduling as well as paid parental and caregiver leave are also available.
