Amitabh Bachchan along with Akshay Kumar and Sachin Tendulkar, along with a plethora of stars attended the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 2 finale. One of the moments from the event, a video of Akshay touching Amitabh’s feet in respect, has gone viral. The finale took place between Majhi Mumbai and Srinagar Ke Veer in Thane, Mumbai.
The Sholay actor attended the finale to show his support to the Majhi Mumbai team, while Akshay was present with his daughter, Nitara, to support his team, Srinagar Ke Veers. A viral video showed Akshay meeting Amitabh and touching his feet as a sign of respect.

The Sooryavanshi actor even shared a photo from the sport event with Sachin Tendulkar. In the caption, Kumar shared his fondness for the cricket legend as he took masterclass from the Master Blaster (a name that is often associated with Sachin).
“Catches win matches—Masterclass from the Master Blaster! Congratulations to Sachin, Mr Bachchan, and the entire Majhi Mumbai team on their victory. To my Srinagar Veers, immense pride in the fight we put up—our day will come (sic),” Akshay wrote alongside the picture.

Another clip from the match showed Akshay cheering for his team with Nitara as the father-daughter duo was seen chatting and enjoying the match.
Majhi Mumbai won the title, after beating Srinagar by three wickets.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay is currently shooting for Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla, co-starring Tabu and Paresh Rawal. The film is slated to release on April 2, 2026. Additionally, he will appear in Kesari Chapter 2 – The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh alongside R Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, is currently busy hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 16.
