As if an ugly 13-6 loss on Sunday wasn’t bad enough, Denver Broncos fans also witnessed every other team in the AFC West secure victories in Week 2.
The Las Vegas Raiders upset the Baltimore Ravens 26-23 on the road to improve to 1-1. The Los Angeles Chargers took care of business with a 26-3 victory over the Carolina Panthers to move to 2-0. And the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 26-25 to remain undefeated.
Those victories and Denver’s loss left the Broncos as the only winless team remaining in the division. Yes, it’s a small sample size, but Denver’s already put itself in a hole in the AFC West.
