The hosts took the lead through Maia Owen who bagged her fifth goal of the season in all competitions after 18 minutes at Old Road. But Ffion Price levelled proceedings after catching out goalkeeper Courtney Young to notch her ninth league goal of the campaign. Lucy Powell tapped into the net to restore the home side’s lead prior to the hour mark before completing her brace in the 76th minute to seal a fifth league triumph of the season. The Bluebirds stay second, one point behind leaders The New Saints.
