Six of the continent’s top teams, including India and Pakistan, will be in action in the ACC Under-19 Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2024, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 15 to 22.
The Indian women’s cricket team will start its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan in Group B on Sunday.
All cricket matches of the ACC U-19 Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2024, including the India vs Pakistan game, will be available on live streaming and telecast in India.
Conducted by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), this will be the inaugural edition of the ACC U-19 Women’s Asia Cup. The tournament will be played in T20 format.
The ACC U-19 Women’s Asia Cup tournament format will see the six teams divided into two groups of three each for the first round. After round-robin matches, the top two teams from each group will move into the Super Four stage.
After another set of round-robin matches, the top two teams in the Super Four group will face off in the final on December 22.
All matches will be at the Bayuemas Oval cricket ground in Kuala Lumpur.
India have named a 15-member squad for the tournament, which will be captained by Niki Prasad with Sanika Chalke as her deputy.
