Gaza – Saba :
The deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Musa Abu Marzouk, said that a round of ceasefire negotiations will begin tomorrow, Friday, in the Qatari capital, Doha.
According to Palestinian media, on Thursday, Abu Marzouk said in a statement to the “New Arab” website that “there is a great chance that the negotiations will succeed this time.”
The movement’s delegation is scheduled to leave today, Thursday, for the Qatari capital Doha to continue the talks.
Yesterday, a leading Hamas delegation visited the Egyptian capital Cairo in an attempt to revive the ceasefire negotiations and the exchange deal.
Sources familiar with the exchange deal negotiations said today that the mediators were able to reach understandings between the two sides to postpone the discussion of any controversial issue until the second phase of the deal, and the agreement is now mature and obstacles can be overcome, according to the Zionist Kan TV channel.
