GREEN BAY − A new gym is opening next year on the west side.
Crunch Fitness is under construction at 1535 W. Mason St. next to Big Lots in the Green Bay Plaza, according to a news release by the company. Jen Osborn, spokesperson for the company, said construction started early this month and is expected to open in February.
The new facility will cost $5 million the release said, and it’s a 31,000-square-foot space. The franchise will be operated by MFG Green Bay Inc., a company founded in 2014.
“We are so excited to bring the Crunch Fitness brand to the Green Bay community,” said Ken McGlone, co-owner of MFG Green Bay, in the release. “Crunch is for everyone, from the first-time gym-goer to the seasoned athlete.”
The gym will have four studios, cardio and strength equipment, a recovery area and offer classes like cycling and hot yoga.
MFG Green Bay Inc. currently has a Crunch fitness center in Appleton, with plans to open more in the near future.
The company is looking for employees; interested applicants can go to Crunch Green Bay Careers.
