You may have noticed that X/Twitter rival Bluesky has started to gain some serious momentum in the last week. More than 1 million subscribers have signed up for the social media network since November 5 as more and more users appear ready to leave X.
Yet the move can feel daunting, especially for many sports fans who have cultivated lists and feeds specifically for their interests. The prospect of starting over completely is enough to keep you on X. But it shouldn’t! Bluesky has rolled out a feature called “Starter Packs” and it’s exactly what it sounds like: curated packs of accounts to follow based on specific interest.
Want to find your favorite NFL accounts right away? There’s a starter pack for that. Worried that your college football friends will be impossible to follow? Don’t be, there’s a starter pack. The same goes for pretty much every sport.
We’ve compiled 9 essential starter packs below to get you, uh, started.
See you on Bluesky.
