NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) – RR Donnelley said in a required notice that they have plans to permanently close their Nacogdoches location.
The company runs a marketing and communications business, and the Nacogdoches branch is located at 5903 North Street. Due to the number of jobs that may be impacted by the change, the company was required to file a notice with the state.
In the notice, Senior VP of Human Resources Mark Brothers said a total of 88 employees may be affected by the closure, with separations expected to begin on or about March 15.
“The company anticipates that all of the affected employees will have their employment terminated during a 14-day period,” the release said. “Various factors may still affect the timing of any employment terminations. Employees at this location are not covered under a collective bargaining agreement and bumping rights do not exist for any of the impacted employees.”
Brothers said the plans to close, when finalized, are expected to be permanent.
