TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday. The deceased driver is 85-year-old Constance Banner of Washington, DC.
On March 1, 2025, at approximately 4:10 pm, officers responded to the 3700 block of Branch Ave for the report of a collision involving two vehicles. Banner was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. She died on March 2, 2025. The second driver was not injured.
The preliminary investigation revealed the collision occurred in a shopping center parking lot. The cause is under investigation.
