For the third straight year, the Crookston Pirate Girls Tennis team is playing the Staples-Motley Cardinals in the Section 8A Girls Tennis Championship. Crookston beat Staples-Motley 5-2 earlier this year. The championship will start at 10:00 a.m. and KROX will be there to update the results as the match goes along. The winner will advance to the Minnesota State Girls Tennis Tournament October 22 and 23.
