TAMPA, FL — Three people were arrested Sunday for operating an illegal gambling house out of the All Stars Tampa Domino Club in the 2300 block of W. Waters Avenue, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
Officers with the Street Anti-Crimes Squad learned about the gambling ring in December 2023.
Undercover officers visited the establishment to make sports bets throughout the past year, police said.
During their investigation, they found that the club operated daily and connected 67-year-old Marcelino Perez, 32-year-old Charlie Parilla and 29-year-old Kendrick Franklin with the gambling ring.
A number of computers, receipts used for illegal gambling, more than $12,000 and a semi-automatic pistol were taken from the club after a search warrant was executed there on Sunday.
