FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana held its largest fundraiser of the year last weekend, raising over $743,000 for the organization.
Over the weekend, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and former 2-time All-Star NBA player and Little Brother, Brad Miller, collaborated for the 21st Annual Brad Miller Gala, Auction, & Golf Outing.
The 21st Annual Brad Miller Gala and Auction was held Saturday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, providing dinner as well as 350 silent and live auction showcases, a live performance by David Garibaldi, and a fireworks display.
The 21st Annual Brad Miller Golf Outing was held Sunday and Monday at Glendarin Hills Golf Club and Noble Hawk Golf Links respectively welcoming over 100 teams total to play golf.
Matched with his Big Brother Dewey Forbes in 1985, Brad Miller says his life was forever changed. After his successful NBA career, he committed to giving back to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana program.
The annual Brad Miller Gala, Auction, & Golf Outing is one way Brad Miller gives back to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana program.
This year, the collaboration raised $743,406.
Big Brothers Big Sisters says it extends its warmest gratitude to Brad Miller, the attendees, donors, sponsors, and volunteers who made this fantastic outcome possible, helping children across Northeast Indiana find mentors to help ignite their potential.
The 22nd Annual Brad Miller Gala, Auction, & Golf Outing is set to take place from August 16-18, 2025.
