Alabama football has reportedly lost a member of its 2026 recruiting class.
Dorian Barney, a 2026 four-star cornerback out of Carrollton, Georgia, told On3 he ended his commitment to the Crimson Tide.
Barney, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete out of Carrollton High School, is the No. 84 prospect in the country per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is the 10th-ranked cornerback and the No. 11 prospect out of Georgia.
Barney committed to Alabama May 19 after an unofficial visit and offer in March.
Barney posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was in College Station, Texas for Texas A&M’s win against LSU.
Alabama added a commitment to the 2026 class Oct. 31 in four-star defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland.
Alabama has the No. 1 recruiting class in 2025 per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
