On Thursday morning, the NFL announced the 2025 Pro Bowl rosters for both the NFC and AFC. As expected, the Detroit Lions have several players named to the honors—seven to be exact. Only the Baltimore Ravens (nine), had more.

As reported earlier, Lions safety Kerby Joseph did not make the Pro Bowl roster, despite leading the NFL in interceptions and earning the most Pro Bowl fan votes. The safeties that made it above him were his teammate Brian Branch, Packers safety Xavier McKinney, and Cardinals safety Budda Baker.
Surprisingly, Alex Anzalone was nowhere to be found on the Pro Bowl or alternate rosters, despite being a lynchpin to the Lions defense. Same could be said for cornerback Carlton Davis.
Note: As a reminder, Jameson Williams and Aidan Hutchinson were not eligible to make the Pro Bowl.
