Route Running
Isaiah Bond is a lethal route runner who is able to make some of his film look like early 2000’s Allen Iverson highlight clips. He demonstrates elite footwork at the line of scrimmage to get early separation from defenders and then through his route he shows he can make quick and decisive moves to beat defenders in coverage.
Separation
Bond uses his footwork and hips to separate from defenders but the way he flows through his routes is what showcases itself on film. He has game-breaking speed that is present during his routes just as much when he has the ball in his hands. Not many receivers show that ability, but he is all gas with no brakes in the best of ways.
Body Control
Bond doesn’t play big, but he demonstrates body control in other ways. He constantly controls his balance when making cuts on routes or maneuvring with the ball in his hands. On the sidelines and endzone, he can make sure if he is a target from his quarterback, he is in a position to make a play and remain inbounds.
