Deone Walker was my seventh overall player over the Summer on my big board. He was explosive, strong at the point of attack, and used his leverage to consistently create pressure. In 2024, he looked slower; he was moved around more, so he never looked comfortable. Could he have been hurt? Perhaps. What the film shows, though, is someone who, in the right scheme, could be a day-one starter and make an impact. He could also just as easily have to sit and develop, but either way, I am not quitting on him. He may not be a top-ten player for me, but he is someone who I am not betting against once he gets into a camp.
