Featured tee time for Round 1

Former PGA champion Jason Day has had a tough road over the last few years, with injuries making the quest to rejoin golf’s elite elusive. But recently Day looks to be rounding into form.

Day got off to a slow start at the Sentry with a T40 finish, then flipped the script at the American Express, contending and eventually finishing T3.

Now Day is at Torrey Pines hoping to capture his first victory since 2023.

For Wednesday’s first round, Day will tee off with Hideki Matsuyama and Max Homa at 1:40 p.m. on the South Course.
