Featured tee time for Round 2
This season, Jordan Spieth is fresh off a wrist surgery that he hopes will solve an injury issue that has been plaguing him for a long time. While his results are mixed so far, the three-time major winner saw only positives on Thursday at the Cognizant Classic.
Spieth got off to a torrid start in the opening round, making four birdies over his first nine holes and adding three more before his round was finished. In the end, he was left with a six-under 65 that put him near the top of the leaderboard.
For Round 2 on Friday, Spieth and playing partners Rickie Fowler and Russell Henley will switch to a front-nine start in the afternoon wave. They are scheduled to tee off at 12:40 p.m. ET.
You can watch Friday’s second round of the Cognizant Classic from 2-6 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. You can also stream exclusive online coverage via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ starting at 6:45 a.m. ET on Friday morning.
