So far the story this week at the Country Club of Jackson is all about talented pro golfers accumulating birdies at a rapid pace.
On Thursday, veteran David Skinns lit up the Mississippi course for a 12-under 60 that was inches from becoming an historic 59.
On Friday, it was 29-year-old Beau Hossler who set the pace with an eight-under 64. That was good enough to give the winless pro a one-shot lead heading into the third round.
